So these two both have pride issues, which is always fun! I think that they may do some business together and maybe even be sort of friends, but they probably accidentally bicker all the time. They're both strong willed and that smirk on his face you mentioned would probably drive her up a while. She hates not knowing things and she'd always be driven insane by the fact that he seems to know things that she doesn't. I think a love/hate relationship here.
