HER STORY: The alias always gone by is something that predates her existence entirely. Her mother was a thief, and when she gave up such work it was only a matter of time before Lucy would grow to breathe life into the infamy carried again. The second she was old enough, the person known as Lucy Serrano practically stopped existing. She always wanted to be more than ordinary, and she certainly chased after that need.

HIS STORY: To be the first born into a family always put a great weight on Carter's shoulders. He might have a twin brother, but the expectations of such a first-born noble had always been his to solely carry. His loyalty is fierce, but incredibly difficult to come by. He doesn't trust easily. Since the disappearance of his twin brother, Carter has gone more inward and become less social, but stories of his aged arrogance and charisma caught the city well before his arrival.
He believes mages are superior. He knows it as fact and can't be convinced otherwise. He'll openly admit to this belief; he is sure most people are only aggressive to his own people because of fear. Fear is something easily exploited. He walks with an obvious sense of power because he knows he well and truly has it above most others. He primarily stays in Goldcrest as a kind of offering; trying to keep peace after the way his nation failed to join the prior war. But truth be told, he has always believed they made the right choice.
He's currently spending days in various meetings with nobles or senators. His nights are in the lower reaches trying to blend in with more common folk to get a better sense of what Goldcrest has to offer.
