Right, let's get this over with.
My name is Roxanne Crom. Yes, of House Crom in Therin. But in all honesty I don't care too much for the rank that comes with it. Our house is powerful. Great.
My brothers were more concerned with playing the little game of politics. Me? I lived out my service and learned how to help the injured. I didn't care that much about the other houses. My father, on the other hand, had other ideas. Even while I was working for our nation, he was planning a marriage for me. How generous. He wasn't too happy when I resisted the idea. He probably would've forced me into it if it wasn't for one thing.

Turns out he wasn't up to the greatest of things. I found out he was dealing with some extremely shady people. Selling information and spying on some other nobles to gather more. I didn't care that much, but Fritz wasn't exactly happy with me finding out his secret. So suddenly he got my father to call off the marriage plans. I don't know how he did it, but he did. The reason was clear; my silence for my freedom.
It was an easy decision.
I still had to parade around as a noble for my house, but the pressure was off for me getting married. I would be able to choose as I pleased, although there was a bit of subtle nudging towards someone who could benefit us. I hope they aren't holding their breath waiting.
We were eventually sent to Goldcrest, and now I work with the clinics to put my training to good use. I might not have magic, but I can hold my own.----------------------------------------------------------------------------- the player --
