It never cease to amaze the nineteen year old that there was always someone out there that would try to steal from a shop located in Palladium Square. Not only was it one of the biggest place in the city, but city guards regularly patrolled the area. She thought it was stupid for someone to even try because it was most likely they would get caught. Heck, she once lived a thief's life but she was never that foolish to steal from a place equipped with plenty of security.
So during her rounds, when she heard the shouts for "Help!" and "Thief! Thief!", she and her partner exchanged playful grins - this would not be the first time for the two to come across something like this. Quickly they ran to the source of the shouts.
The only good news about this other kid trying to run with her was that someone would take the blame. Not Bo. She was already lost in the crowd and watching now. Stupid kid. That was the last time she'd ever even think to agree to work with someone else. "What the hell was I thinking." She muttered.
She watched the kid squirm in the merchant's grasp before recognizing a certain someone running straight for the commotion.
It did not take long for the two to pinpoint where the shouts came from. A lazy smirk formed as she saw the scene playing out in front of her - the man already had a hold of the culprit. The kid was not a very skillful one now was he, she deduced.
The crowd made way for the two guards and they were greeted with a relieved looking merchant. "Help! I just got the one but there were two! I swear!"
Wrenly nodded and turned to her partner. "You handle that one and I'll go find the other," she informed before scanning the crowd and spotted one in rags who stood out from the rest. "Hey, you there! Get over here." She then ran in the person's direction, not trusting her orders would be obeyed.
Great, now she was chasing her. Bo didn't waste time with a reply. Instead she turned and sprinted through the crowd. The perks of being small. No doubt her old "friend" was going to be right on her tail the whole time.
She really had to stop getting close to people who turned into guards. It was becoming bad for business.
Bo took plenty of twists and turns through the crowd, eventually breaking out of it and fleeing into the gap between two buildings. Once she was there she finally slowed and whipped around. "Hey! Will you quit chasing me? I didn't even take anything!"

As expected, the kid broke off into a run. Shaking her head, Wrenly followed suit. It was not like it was the first time she had to chase someone around town, and from her experience the other person would get tired eventually. The trick was she who should not get tired first. But that was what the training was for, right?
From the winding and twisting paths she had to follow, she would say the kid was much more skillful and probably smarter than the friend back there. Wrenly stopped when she realized she was not small enough to go through the gap and swiftly past through it like the kid had. "Dang," she mumbled.
"Yeah? Quit the act kid," she started as she walked through the gap. "If you really didn't take anything, why're you running then, huh? Hiding from the truth?" Wrenly looked up and smirked. "Feeling guilty?"
Kid? Bo snorted. "Oh stuff it, Wren! You're almost the same age as I am." Or at least that's what Bo could remember. Hell, she used to run small jobs with this girl. Point was, she wasn't much better. Even if she was a "well respected citizen" now.
"And fuck feeling guilty! You took one look at me and accused me, yeah?" Bo sneered back at her and rolled her eyes. "So of course I'd run. What was I going to do? Stand there and let you arrest me for somethig that other idiot did?" Of course, she had been somewhat involved in the whole affair. But she wasn't about to admit that.
"Besides, wasn't so log ago when you were pulling stunts like this, yeah? So don't give me the 'righteous reformed brat' routine."

For a moment, her tracks stopped when she heard her name - caught slightly off guard by that. After a couple seconds, she gave herself a shake and quickened her pace. Once Wrenly was right in front of the other female, she could not help but chuckle to herself as she realized why the voice had sounded so familiar.
Before she could give a comment, Bo was already sneering at her. "Well technically didn't have much of a good look but with you dressed like that it wasn't that hard to figure out who the other thief now was it?" she said blatantly. Her arms crossed over her chest and she listened.
Wrenly sucked in a breath as Bo subtly reminded her of her past but before she could dwell on that, a bark of laugher escaped at the name she was called. "Wow, Bo. When are you gonna stop with the so called innocent act, huh?" Besides experience being her evidence, Wrenly doubted she had nothing to do with the commotion earlier.
"You left the kid back there. What, not cute enough for the trouble?"

Bo stared down at her own clothes. Then glanced back up with a roll of her eyes. "What, should I dress like a princess next time? Sorry the only things I have aren't up to standards." Although truthfully she could afford to clean her clothes soon. They were getting a bit dirtier than usual.
"And stuff it, it's not an act. Sure I knew the kid but what of it?" They hardly mattered much to Bo. They'd turned into a nuisance the moment they'd gotten caught. "And you should know I don't do that romancy feelings shit." Her face scrunched up even as she said it. Bo and expressing emotions did not go over well.
"What about you then, yeah? You came here with a partner and left them behind. That mean they ain't cute enough for you?"

The nineteen year old returned a playful roll of her eyes as well when Bo mentioned dressing like a princess. For a thief, Wrenly knew what Bo had on was good especially if she was out in The Commons. But dressed like that out in one of the largest city, she stood out like a sore thumb among the more..."privileged" ones.
Wrenly shrugged. "Was it hopeful to think that you might have changed somethings over the years? The again, you don't happen to be losing your touch now do ya mixing around with an amateur like that?" The trick was not to get caught and the sooner the kid back there learnt that the better for him but for now, he was making the guard's job easier - fine by Wren.
"Oh hey now. He is cute, but with that aside, we're just doing our jobs...do you even know what that means, Bo?" she finished in a teasing condescending tone.
"Ha!" Was she actually serious? "You bet your sweet arse it was hopeful. You expect me to change into a tinman like you?" No way in hell would the guard even think of accepting her. Not that she'd ever consider trying for it in the first place. That kind of reform wasn't for brats like her.
"And I'm not losing my touch, just my patience with these idiots. No one seems good that isn't part of the guild." Bo scowled. The guild swept up more kids like her than the tinmen caught them.
"And yes I know what doing a job means. Doesn't mean you ain't banging him on the side, yeah?" She snickered at the thought. "But away from that. What have you been up to Wren? Seriously, last time I saw you was way long ago. Now you've even got a partner to screw on the side. When did that happen?"
